Goal of the FLAVIIR program is to develop technologies for a maintenance free, low cost UAV without conventional control surfaces and without performance penalty over conventional craft. The program is funded by the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council and BAE Systems, and involves, amoung others, the University of Leicester and the Cranfield University.
