Two AV-8B Harriers prepare for flight operations aboard the USS Nassau

Two AV-8B Harriers, attached to the Air Combat Element of the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), prepare for flight operations aboard amphibious assault ship USS Nassau (LHA 4). The 24th MEU is participating in Nassau Strike Group's Composite Unit Training Exercise (COMPTUEX). COMPTUEX provides a realistic training environment to ensure the strike group is capable and ready for deployment.
