An F/A-18E Super Hornet strike fighter assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 27 lands aboard the aircraft carrier USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63) during flight operations. Kitty Hawk is the final deployment before being relieved by the nuclear aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73).
