Air Force to inspect all C-130 planes

Cracks discovered during routine maintenance have resulted in an Air Force-wide inspection of C-130 planes, including eight at Maxwell Air Force Base.

Technicians at Robins Air Force Base in Georgia found cracks in upper wing joint barrel nuts, and a time compliance technical order was issued. That means all models and variants of the C-130 must be inspected for cracks before their next flight.
