No problem in Sukhoi upgradation programme: IAF

New Delhi: The upgradation process of the Indian Air Force's state-of-the-art Sukhoi-30 fighter aircraft is proceeding smoothly with the older variants being upgraded to the 'MKI' standard.

''There is no problem about the Sukhoi upgradation process with the older Su-30Ks being sent back to Russia to be brought up to the Su-30 MKI standards,'' IAF's Director General, Flight Inspection and Safety Air Marshal P S Ahluwalia today said at a press conference here.

He denied that there were any problems relating to the costs incurred.
