Bombers complete long-range exercise with Australia

ANDERSEN AIR FORCE BASE, Guam -- Three B-52 Stratofortresses completed 13-hour flights from here to an Australian training range Sept. 21 and 22 to train for long-range strike missions.

McCHORD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash. -- Thirty-seven Team McChord Airmen left today in a C-17 Globemaster III, loaded with more than 90,000 pounds of cargo destined for Antarctica, beginning another season of Operation Deep Freeze.
