Refueling a RC135 aboard a KC135 Stratotanker

On July 23 I had the unique opportunity to participate in a practice refueling mission aboard a Nebr Air National Guard KC135 Stratotanker. Our flight took us over NW Iowa and then we banked west towards Oneil, NE to refuel an RC135 that had departed Offut AFB. The members of the 155th Refueling Wing of the Nebr Air National Guard are some of the classiest people you'll ever meet. Here we are at 25,000 ft going 285 knots and refueling an RC135 from Offut AFB. Absolutely amazing!
