Air Force Predator hit on Iraq weapons cache

On 1 January 2008, an Air Force MQ-1B Predator, assigned to the 196 RS, conducted ISR for a B-1B Lancer, assigned to the 379 EOG, destroying a weapons cache using a GBU-31 in the vicinity of Baghdad, Iraq. A GBU-31 hit the target destroying the weapons cache. The JTAC declared the mission successful.
