The MI-28 'Havoc' is a Russian all-weather day-night military tandem two-seat anti-armour attack helicopter. It is a dedicated attack helicopter with no intended secondary transport capability, better optimized than the Mil Mi-24 for the anti-tank role.It is powered by 2x Klimov TV3-117VM turboshafts giveing the Mi-28 a top speed of around 187Mph.
A chin-mounted 30 mm Shipunov 2A42 cannon provides the Mi-28 with duel feed destructive capabilities, both armor piercing and He-Frag ammunition can be selected based on the target in question.
Russia currently operates between 50-65of these with a total of 400~ by late 2013 to early 2014
