DPRK: US carries out over 180 aerial espionage ops in December

Today, according to Chinese state-owned Xinhua, the DPRK released the numbers for December; 180 flights.
PYONGYANG, Dec. 30 (Xinhuanet) -- The Democratic People's Republicof Korea (DPRK) on Thursday condemned the United States for carrying out more than 180 alleged aerial espionage operations against it in December.
"Every day, U-2s made shuttle flights in the sky over the east and west seas of the south side along the Military Demarcation Line (MDL) to spy on strategic targets," a military source said inan article, quoted by the official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA).
The article also said, "RC-135 strategic reconnaissance planes flew in the air above the east and west seas of Korea to spy on the major targets in the north side."
Similar espionage operations were alleged to have been perpetrated frequently by E-3, EP-3 and other tactical and electronic reconnaissance planes against the north, according to the article.
In November, the DPRK said the United States carried out as many as 210 aerial espionage operations, the most in a single month this year, KCNA reported. Enditem
