InsideDefense.com is reporting the J-UCAS program, a program to develop the X-45 and X-47 Unmanned Combat Air Vehicles (UCAV), has been cancelled.
Although no other sources are currently reporting this, I will keep a close eye on the news, and post updates on this story when new information surfaces.
On nov 2nd, 2005 the J-UCAS program was restructured. Already in october the Pentagon and defense industry giants were working hard to reverse budget cuts to the program. The US Senate was seeking to slash $200M off the $350M budget proposal for the program.
